I don’t know about you, but I think parenting is hard. Not in a ‘poor me’ kind of way. More like a "Holy Sh*t there is so much responsibility in trying to raise a good tiny humans who feels confident and loved and connected."

Creating a connection with our kids seems like an obvious goal, however, sometimes it’s easier said than done. Our lives get busy; children's activities, parents gotta work, places to go, people to see, houses get messy and dinner won’t cook itself. So where the f*ck do you find time to create a happy, wonderful, amazing connection with your kids?

Easy. Dinnertime or bedtime. Make these two times of the day ‘connection time’. And start asking these simple 50 Great Connection Questions for Kids.

There’s a million reasons why asking your kids questions every day is a good idea. You will learn so much more about them then you expected, you will activate their brilliant brains, they will build confidence and be more aware of their ‘sense of self’ but most importantly….it builds connection.

Asking questions and especially asking the follow up question of “why?” let’s our children know that we have a personal interest in them; that we care about them; that their thoughts and opinions matter and are important to us - but most importantly, when making eye connection and listening with our ears and our heart…they feel love. They feel connected. A sense of connection builds their self-esteem and trust as it develops an understanding of their self and of others.

When children feel connected, confident and loved they will grow up feeling like they can move mountains.

It’s simple and it takes no effort. Print this 50 Great Connection Questions for Kids sheet and leave it by your dinner table or their bed and make it a daily routine.

And if you only have time for one question, the most important question to ask would be “What are you grateful for today?”
