DIY Beautiful Home Decor | Painted 'Love' Rocks

Updated: Nov 19, 2021

Hi my name is Jenny and I'm a 'spray-paint-aholic'. And although we are not spray painting here, I must admit, I'm a little bit of a 're-paint' everything fanatic. My most favorite and simplest DIY home décor craft this year would have to be my Painted Positivity Rocks.

I actually used my children as free child-labour...ahem...I mean I have them a fund painting activity to do. I set down a big vat of white paint and let them 'go to town' painting a bucket full of rocks. Once they finished their task, I paid them in oranges and took their final product to the 'mommy assembly line' and added some inspiring, positive words. And voila...home decor 'Positivty Rocks' were born! Then I simply stuck those beautiful rocks in any nook and cranny I could find: in my kitchen, bathroom, front porch, flower pots and side tables.

This Positivity Rock is transformational...it has LOVE on one side and JOY on the other. It's like f*cking magic. Brilliant...I know. And it brings a little 'black and white - farmhouse decor' onto my cupboard. And sometimes the most simplest DIY decor crafts are the most beautiful.

Give these beautiful rocks as a gift: spell a name, a child's name, a special date, or mark the spot with an inspiring, positive word or phrase.
