I love podcasts. Like love, love, love, them.

To the point where some people probably think I must be working off commission for Apple and Spotify. But hello…the days of lonely motherhood are gone for me. I have deep, intellectual connections with many people throughout the week, all through my amazing AirPods Pro (insert commission link here…just kidding). I simply plug in my ear thingies and start doing the dishes. Who knew dishes would be so much fun, inspiring, educational and motivational.

So grab your ear thingies, whatever brand they may be, and start learn from these inspiring women as they share stories and facts of growth and wellness.

3 Amazing Wellness Podcasts for Women by Women

The 4 Phase Cycle Podcast

The 4 Phase Cycle Podcast by Zesty Ginger teaches us so much more about our feminine cycle than our mothers ever taught us in our onset of adolescence. Yet, had we been more informed about our cycles and hormones, in depth, our entire world would be a different place - guaranteed. Women’s bodies are actually designed to do a very important job in the cycle of life; we are responsible for creating it. Ergo our bodies are complex beings, continually riding the ebbs and flows of fluctuating hormones, energy levels and emotions. Yet most of us go throughout life never being fully in tuned with why we are feeling what we are feeling. We simply carry on through life with no regard for the magical, daily inner workings of our bodies and the biological cycle it runs on.

As humans we are good at cycles and routines. They let us know what to do. When the sun rises, we get up. When it sets, we sleep. When the calendar says its Monday we go to work. When it’s Sunday , we stay home and rest. When it’s Thursday we collect all our garbage and put it on the street. Yet do you know what you should be doing around the time of ovulation in your cycle? Do you even know when you ovulate? Do you know what foods to eat at the beginning of your cycle? If not, you need to listen to this podcast.

There are four phases in our menstrual cycle. Each different phase requires and produces different things. There is a time for rest and a time for nourishment and a time for productivity and planning.

You can actually decrease PMS, fatigue, cramps and increase your overall mood and energy levels by going with the FLOW…lol…see what I did there? Flow? Get it? I’m so funny. I just love my puns! But you can say goodbye to #crazyPMSlady.

Once you begin to learn about the phases you’re going to have multiple ‘aha’ moments. I pinky swear you. Because if you actually scheduled your life to accommodate your cycles, life will become much easier since how we behave and feel, emotionally and physically, is a direct correlation to what is going on inside of us.

These are the 4 Phases and the podcast episodes which explain them.

Highest Self Podcast by Sahara Rose

Sahara Rose hosts the Highest Self podcast and is such an inspiring millennial who is modernizing ancient wisdom. She’s bringing Ayurveda, a 5,000 year old holistic healing system, back into mainstream. Ayurveda is based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. But this Podcast is about more than Ayurveda, it’s about inspiring the world to find their dharma, or our life’s “purpose”. It’s not just for women but she is such an advocate for divine feminine energy that she falls into this favorites list.

She recently just published her third best-selling book, Discover Your Dharma. It dives into why many of us are so conditioned to stay comfortable, quiet and scared that we don’t follow our true callings in life and why we often are so out of tune that we can’t even see what our true callings or purposes may be. She helps ignite the passion within you to discover the real reason why you are here on this earth and how following your dharma is the path to uncovering your happiness.

She is also hilarious if you follow her on Instagram. She loves to twerk and lip-sync like a diva and you can’t help but feel a boost of energy when you watch her. I love her attitude on life and how she shows us that we can be these amazing souls, searching for wellness and a higher purpose, yet be totally confused human beings on a day to day basis…and that’s okay. She has a free Masterclass: Discover Your Soul's Purpose where she guides you step-by-step on how to discover your soul’s purpose.

The Goop Podcast by Gwenyth Paltrow

Goop is an amazing podcast, created by Gwenyth Paltrow, which has so many insightful shows. It’s a mixed bag of everything. They host great interviews with brightest thinkers and culture changers. brightest thinkers and culture changers. They dive deep into wellness tools and techniques, life lessons, books, controversial conversations, health, inspiring stories, and are huge supporters of women’s sexual health by bringing light to topics usually not discussed in our world.

I am always learning something new here and there’s a barrel of episodes to choose from.

I love Goop, but they have also been a huge subject of controversy regarding toxic products, unsubstantiated claims, to false advertising. But with such a wide spread of information available on their site it would be almost impossible for them not be to become a target.

I would be lying if I said there’s content on their site or podcast that don’t evoke an occasional eye roll. But what I do believe in, deep down, is that there is no right or wrong opinion, that not every product created is meant for every person and you shouldn’t blindly follow someone else's advice without doing your own research first. brightest thinkers and culture changers. So, in my opinion, you can’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. So controversy aside, don’t miss out on many of the amazing things this podcast has to offer. Expand your awareness, be open to new things, get Goopy…lol.. that was lame I know!

Some great shows are:

Getting Out of Your Head and Back Into Your Body – with Emily Nagoski the author of Burnout. She discusses why the cure for burnout is not self-care., it's simply care. It’s all of us caring for each other. That means that when you think you need more grit, what you need is more help. When you think you need more discipline, you need more kindness.

Gwyneth Paltrow x Martha Beck: What Does It Mean to Live in Integrity? They talk about ways we sublimate our own truths, little lies we tell to keep the peace or when we smile through discomfort—and why society is threatened by people living in integrity.

Gwyneth Paltrow x Barry Michels: Prepare to Be Triggered - In this episode Barry Michels shares his three-point plan for coping with negativity.
